The financial assistance application on the right was presented by FWAFA to the Texas Education Agency as exhibit D in a letter dated May 13, 2014. If the fine arts fees are optional, why does one even need financial assistance? Why do either form request a copy of the applicant’s tax return for “optional” fees? If you will compare the two forms side by side, you will notice they are completely different. Left side = what parents were sent. Right side = what Texas Education Agency was sent. Note the check box on page 2 of the right document: “I do not wish to pay a fine arts fee for the 2012/2013 school year”. Classic! If only that document was the one the school sent out.
